Natural Home Remedies for Dogs

We all want our furry friends to be healthy and happy. As dog owners, we know the importance of providing the best care to our pets, but did you know that some of the most effective remedies can be found in your kitchen?

In this post, we’ll be discussing three natural homemade remedies for dogs – Golden Paste anti-inflammatory, ear cleaning solution, and flea & tick repellent.

GOLDEN PASTE ANTI-INFLAMMATORY

This powerful mixture is known to have anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce pain and inflammation in dogs. This remedy is particularly useful for dogs with arthritis, joint pain, and digestive issues. Golden Paste can also improve skin and coat health and boost the immune system.

  • ½ cup Turmeric

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 ½ tsp black pepper

  • 70ml coconut oil

Mix Turmeric and water at low heat, stirring until paste is formed.  Add ground pepper and coconut oil.

Keep in Fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Dose:  ½ tsp per 20lbs

EAR CLEANING SOLUTION

Ear infections in dogs can be common, and regular cleaning can help prevent them. But not all commercial ear cleaners are safe for dogs, and some can even cause irritation. Fortunately, you can make a gentle yet effective ear cleaning solution for your pooch at home.

  • Brew a cup of green tea and add 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar.

Keep in Fridge for up to 2 weeks.

FLEA & TICK REPELLENT

Fleas and ticks can be a nuisance to dogs, and commercial flea and tick products can contain harmful chemicals. Luckily, there are natural remedies that can help keep these pests away.

  • ½ cup witch hazel

  • 2tbsp coconut oil

  • 40 drops cedarwood oil

  • 2ml neem oil

  • 1tbsp castile soap

Shake well each time before use.
